Terms of Use
These terms govern your use of the Grow mobile application. By downloading or using Grow, you agree to them.
1. The service
Grow is a personal habit-tracking and motivation app. Features may include daily quests, progress tracking, optional accountability tools, optional garden-style gamification, cloud sync when signed in, and an optional iOS Screen Time habit that reads total daily screen time only when you enable it.
Grow is provided for personal, non-commercial use. We may change, suspend, or discontinue features with or without notice.
2. Eligibility
You must be old enough to use the App Store and to consent to these terms in your country (and at least 13 years old, or higher if required where you live). If you use Grow on behalf of an organization, you confirm you have authority to accept these terms.
3. Accounts
- You may use Grow as a guest or create an account.
- You are responsible for keeping your sign-in credentials secure and for activity under your account.
- Provide accurate information. Do not impersonate others or create accounts for unauthorized use.
- We may suspend or terminate accounts that abuse the service, violate these terms, or create security or legal risk.
4. Your content
You retain ownership of the habits, notes, and other content you enter. You grant us a limited license to host, store, sync, and display that content solely to operate Grow for you (including backups and sync when enabled).
Do not upload unlawful, harmful, or infringing content. You are responsible for what you enter into the app.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Reverse engineer or attempt to access Grow in unauthorized ways
- Probe, disrupt, or overload our systems or providers
- Use Grow to violate law or others’ rights
- Misrepresent Screen Time or other data to deceive third parties
- Resell or redistribute the app or its content without permission
6. Screen Time feature
Automatic screen time tracking is optional and requires Apple permission. Totals may differ slightly from Apple’s Settings figures. Grow does not provide parental controls, app blocking, or device management. You remain responsible for how you use your device and any goals you set.
7. Third-party services
Grow relies on third parties such as Apple, Google (if you use Google sign-in), and Supabase. Their terms and privacy policies apply to their services. We are not responsible for third-party outages or policy changes outside our control.
8. Intellectual property
Grow, including its name, design, and software, is owned by the publisher and its licensors. These terms do not grant you ownership of the app—only a personal license to use it as allowed by the App Store and these terms.
9. Disclaimer
Grow is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that Grow will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that data will never be lost. Keep your own exports if you need backups.
Grow is not medical, mental-health, or professional advice. Habit and motivation features are for personal use only.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the publisher and its suppliers are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of Grow. Our total liability for any claim relating to Grow is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid us for Grow in the twelve months before the claim, or (b) zero if Grow is free.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; in those places, our liability is limited to the fullest extent allowed.
11. Indemnity
You agree to defend and indemnify the publisher against claims arising from your misuse of Grow or violation of these terms, to the extent permitted by law.
12. Termination
You may stop using Grow at any time and may request account deletion as described in the Privacy Policy. We may stop providing Grow or end your access if you breach these terms or if we discontinue the service.
13. Changes
We may update these terms by posting a new version on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
14. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws applicable to the publisher’s place of residence, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where mandatory consumer protections in your country say otherwise. Courts in that jurisdiction may hear disputes, subject to your local consumer rights.
